4 INGREDIENTS IN THE MICROWAVE!
The incredible taste that these 4 ingredients form together will have you in shock. It’s so easy. Not that fudge is ever really hard, but some recipes tend to be easier than others and this one is absolutely one of the easiest out there. You’ll need dulce de leche caramel for this. The original poster mentions that you can make some in your crock pot, or you can just buy a can of the stuff. Nestle makes some. You can find it in the baking aisle of your local supermarket. Being the baker extraordinaire that I am, I usually have this around. Also, because I love caramel and may or may not hide in the closet or laundry room eating it. I plead the fifth.
Don’t forget to prepare your pan. Fudge is easiest when you use foil to line the pan and grease the foil. It won’t stick and pops right off. Melt the chocolate chips and butter in the microwave, making sure not to scorch it. Do it in 30-second intervals until it’s melted. Then add the vanilla and then swirl in that dulce de leche. You’ll see it make that lovely pattern and then you can transfer it into your pan where you will refrigerate for at least 2 hours until it sets.
I found this surprising recipe on the Chocolate, Chocolate and More blog. Click the link below to see the blog and full recipe for this Dulce De Leche Fudge.
