SINFULLY SIMPLE!
Yes, this pie gives a good fake-out. It is beautiful, chocolaty, impressive and oh-so-easy. Cream cheese is what’s responsible for that thick, creamy texture. What makes it taste like chocolate velvet is the ganache you’ll create with the dark chocolate chips and heavy cream. Don’t have heavy cream? No problem. Just use regular milk instead. Don’t skip this step though. It is completely responsible for making this pie the slice of heaven that it truly is.
No baking required to be the dessert hero with this one. You only need a pre-made graham cracker crust. Oooh! Oooh! And you know what would be even more awesome? If you used one of those chocolate graham cracker crusts. Aw man. Why didn’t I think of that when I was trying this one out before?
