ONLY 7 EASY INGREDIENTS!
Aside from cream cheese to give it a density unlike any other pound cake I’ve had, this has 6 other ingredients that you probably have right now in your home. And you know I am such a sucker for things that require only a few ingredients. I think sometimes too much stuff complicates things. Simplify, man!
There’s nothing difficult about this. You grease up your bundt pan, or tube pan if you don’t have a bunt, and then you use your mixer to combine everything. Take care to add each of the eggs one at a time and mix well before adding the next. It’s just like any cake. Smooth the batter into your pan and bake away. The downside of this cake is that you’ll be baking it for an hour and 40 minutes which will feel like forever. Probably not a good idea on a super hot day either but the taste is worth it for sure. Enjoy with a nice cup of coffee!
