READY, SET, BAKE!
Ready-made chocolate chip cookie dough makes this such a snap. The recipe calls for the use of half the dough but if you’re like me, you’ll make the whole thing so you have more of these yummy things to indulge in. Plus, if your kids are like mine, a dozen will not be enough. You’ll push the dough into ungreased mini-muffin cups and bake it. When it’s done, take the handle of a wooden spoon and use it to reshape the puffed-up cookies so it resembles more of a cup. Let them cool in the pan for 5 minutes before removing to cool completely.
And while they cool, make the frosting. It’s super easy. The thing with these though is if you want a pretty presentation, you’ll have to carefully blob the frosting in there. Or pipe it in using an icing bag if you have one, or a plastic bag with the end cut off if you don’t. You can and should totally top these with something too. Mini M&M’s or colored sprinkles are fine ideas, though anything mini like that should work nicely. It will make these look and taste even better too.
