WORTH THE WAIT!
If you’re looking for a quick cookie recipe that you can make and eat within 20 minutes from start to finish, this one is not for you. You must exercise extreme patience with these because they require a minimum of 8 hours to chill. The best thing you can do is put your dough together the night before, honestly. Making the dough is really easy. The waiting is what’s hard. You’ll take your dough, roll it into balls and put it on your parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Then you’ll cover it with plastic and try your best not to dream of it all night long.
But once you wake, you can begin to bake! These cookies will spread a bit so be careful when you’re setting them up for baking. Don’t over-bake them either. They will be golden on the edges but the center will set after you pull them out of the oven. Once you taste them, you’ll see they were totally worth waiting for!
I found this classic recipe on the Chocolate, Chocolate and More blog. Click the link below to see the blog and full recipe for these Coconut Ranger Cookies.
