BETTER THAN BOX!
What you’ll do to make this tropically-delicious cake is start with a box of white cake mix. Be sure when you’re gathering your ingredients for this recipe that you also account for the ingredients listed on the box mix. You will need to prepare it as the box specifies for the cake portion. You’ll bake it as directed on the box, too. Then the fun begins. You’ll combine the cream of coconut and the sweetened condensed milk while the cake bakes. Once the cake comes out, move it to a cooling rack and poke that baby. That’s right. Take out any anger you’ve got, though don’t go too nuts…you don’t want to rip the cake apart. Poke it all over the top with a chopstick or skewer or whatever else you’ve got.
While the cake is still hot, you’ve got to pour that coconut mixture all over the top so the cake swallows it up. After that, you can let it cool. And may I suggest a piña colada while you wait? There’s this guy named Marco who can bring you one…
