EVEN BETTER WITH CHOCOLATE!
Name one thing that isn’t made better with chocolate. Ok, so cheese is out. And vegetables. That would be weird too. But name on sweet thing that isn’t better with chocolate. See? You can’t. That’s because chocolate makes everything that ever was sweet and amazing and turns it into the best possible version of it. Make sure you use the sweetened coconut for this. It adds the sweetness as well as moisture to these. You don’t want crumbly and dry macaroons. Chocolate won’t fix that.
Speaking of chocolate, you don’t have to dip them into the chocolate but I completely recommend that you do. After they cool, you’ll get a room-temperature baking sheet ready with parchment paper. Then you’ll microwave your chocolate until it’s smooth and dip the bottoms of the macaroons in. Put them on the parchment paper and allow them to set. It helps to put them in the fridge for a bit to get them to set better.
