A REFRESHINGLY CREAMY CLASSIC!
Coconut cream pie isn’t usually high up on people’s favorite pie lists. It’s a shame, but it’s true. And I blame that squarely on the fact that most people have not had the pleasure of having a traditional coconut cream pie. Most coconut cream pie you’ll encounter will sadly use a pudding filling. If only people knew how simple it was to make the filling without pre-made puddings. Coconut cream pie only looks complex. It’s actually really simple to make.
If you like coconut, then this is a great one to try. You make the entire filling from scratch though you can cheat on the pie crust (go ahead…I did). In the end, you’re left with an amazing pie that will be the coup de grâce for any gathering from a nice dinner to a potluck.
