SWEET AND LOVELY IN LESS THAN AN HOUR!
In less time than it takes me to fix my hair and make-up, you could have this cake ready. As I mentioned before, it starts with a box of cake mix. You’ll take all the ingredients for the cake itself (7 total, which includes the box mix) and you’ll beat it on low and then increase the speed. And then, you’ll pour it into 2 round 9-inch cake pans, making sure to grease and flour them real good before you do. No one wants a stuck cake.
Bake it. Cool it. And then get busy on the frosting. Again, you’ll trot out your mixer for this, beating all the ingredients until they’re nice and smooth. You’ll spread the frosting on the first layer and then you’ll add the second layer on top and frost that too. Get the sides real good. For an extra touch, sprinkle it with cinnamon and sugar and wait for the yummy sounds from everyone. Should there be any leftovers, keep them in the fridge.
I found this lovely recipe on the Taste of Home website. Click the link below to see the site and full recipe for this Cinnamon & Sugar Cake.
