A FABULOUS 5-STEP CAKE!
My husband always overcomplicates things. It’s like he needs to reinvent the wheel with everything. For why??? So if you’re like me, keep things simple and make yourself this cake. It’s easy enough to make for breakfast tomorrow morning! Get your butter melted first and then use your mixer to combine the dough ingredients, adding the melted butter last. Pour this into your prepared pan. Then make your topping. It will be creamy once it’s well-combined. You’ll plop it in blobs on top of the batter and then take a knife to it, swirling it in so it creates a pretty marbled effect.
Then bake it. See? How easy was that? I know, right? And once you pop it out of the oven, just make your glaze with the powdered sugar, milk and vanilla. Pour it over your warm cake and serve straight away. It’s also good after it cools to room temperature but it’s downright irresistible when it’s warm. Mmmm!
I found this superb recipe on the Chef-in-Training blog. Click below to see the blog and full recipe for this Cinnamon Roll Cake.
