EVERYTHING’S BETTER WITH CHOCOLATE!
I will always love sugar cookies, but I am so happy I found these. It feels like I made a new best friend. One that I ate. Oopsy. So here’s some tips on making your new BFF…You’ll cream up the butter with the brown sugar. Get it good and fluffy using your mixer. Then you’ll drop in the eggs one at a time. Make sure you mix each egg up really well before adding the next one.
Like regular sugar cookies, the vanilla goes in after the eggs, and then the dry ingredients, including the cocoa powder which is what makes these chocolaty. The dough needs to chill for an hour. So you’ll have to dream about your cookies. Just for a little while though. And then it’s back in action again. You can use a spoon if you don’t have a cookie scoop and roll that dough into your sugar mixture. These bake up fast but try not to be like me and burn your mouth on them because you’re too impatient to let them cool. Yowch!
