THANKFULLY, IT’S FASTER TO MAKE THAN TO SAY!
One look at this thing and you can see the chocolate and peanut butter waiting to delight you. It’s SO good! And it’s a lot quicker than you’d expect because you use chocolate cake mix. The original poster used German chocolate cake mix but you can use ANY chocolate cake mix. So you’ll mix the cake mix with egg and butter and then mash it down into the pan. Then, you’ll layer peanut butter cups and chopped Butterfingers on top of that. You can quickly pulse your Butterfingers in your food processor. They don’t need to be in dust form. Just a quick rough chop will do. Take the peanut butter cups and Butterfingers and spread them on top.
Then, there’s a cream cheese layer. Oh yes! Make it and spread it on top of the peanut butter candy layer. Then you bake it. Take it easy baking it because you don’t want it overdone. The cake needs to set and will achieve that when the middle is a bit puffy. Follow the instructions for how to bake in a glass pan and keep checking it. It might need longer than the time posted and the original poster has more details on that. At the end, once it has cooled, you can top it with the melted chocolate. And then, it is complete. Stand back and marvel at your masterpiece before promptly digging in.
