GLORIOUSLY GOOF-PROOF!
These are the bars of your dreams because they’re so simple to make. You can’t mess them up even if you try. Plus, you can customize them to your liking. Use all milk chocolate chips instead. Or add raisins and nuts. Double down on the chocolate. Anything goes here! According to the original poster, you can use old-fashioned oats or quick oats. Either will turn out fine.
Another tip is to make sure you really grease your pan well. You don’t want these babies sticking in there. Then mix up your ingredients. A mixer works fastest and best but if you don’t have one, it’s easy to do by hand. When it’s ready, spread it into your pan and then top with your chocolate chips. This would be where you could add other stuff too like caramel, toffee bits, nuts or whatever else you dream up. Then spread the rest of the mixture on top of the chocolate chips. Bake it and then let it cool for at least 5 minutes before you begin cutting into bars. Enjoy!
