FRESHEN UP YOUR BROWNIE GAME!
These are so moist and incredible. The chocolate syrup helps with that. These are also so super easy. You’ll get the brownie batter together as instructed and then bake it. Nothing crazy there. The brownies need to cool before you spread the filling on top of them. The recipe calls for green food coloring to give it a nice green color, you know, like mints. I recommend it too because if not, it won’t look as pretty. You want that pop of green that screams, “I’m minty!”
Finally, you’ll deal with the topping. The recipe calls for mint chocolate chips. I usually see them in the supermarket near me so I had no problem grabbing a bag when I went to make these. However, the original poster has an excellent idea at the end of the recipe for what you can do should you find yourself unable to locate a bag of mint chocolate chips so if you are excited about making these but can’t get the right chips, you can easily get around that.
Additionally, the original poster says these get moister if they stay in the fridge for a day or two but never can keep them around that long because everyone eats them. I just want you to know we had the same problem at our house. I guess I’d better make some more and see if I can solve the mystery…
I found this sweet and minty recipe from the Taste of Home website. Click the link below to see the site and the full recipe for these Chocolate Mint Brownies.
