LAYERS OF CHOCOLATY BLISS!
This is an easy dessert that will delight everyone. It starts with an Oreo crust. You’ll need a whole package of Oreos for the crust but it won’t hurt anything if you sneak a few of them while you make it. Use a food processor to crush them or put them in a zipper bag and crush them the old-fashioned way. Your call. Mix the Oreo crumbs with melted butter, making sure to coat all the crumbs, then press this into the bottom of your pan. Pop that pan into the fridge while you get busy on everything else.
You’ll make your cream cheese mix and then spread it over the crust. Allow it to go back in the fridge when you take care of the pudding. Since it’s instant pudding, it makes things a lot easier. You’ll spread the pudding on top of the cream cheese layer. Then after a short rest, you’ll top it with the rest of your Cool Whip. And then, the pièce de résistance, the chocolate chips, will go on top. For faster readiness, stick this in the freezer for an hour or wait it out for 4 hours in the fridge before serving. I will sincerely be surprised if you have any leftovers after you serve it. Enjoy!
