IT’S COOKIE TIME!
These are so simple and so delicious too. Only 5 ingredients are needed for this. Yes, really! Though I suggest you make the dough up the night before so that it’s ready to go when you are.
Using a hand mixer will make getting the cream cheese filling together much faster. You’ll spread that on your crescent roll dough. You’ll want to stretch that dough out a little bit more too so that it forms a rectangle before you do the spreading. After you put the cream cheese mixture, you’ll add your chocolate chips and then roll the whole thing up. Wrap it tight in plastic wrap and then refrigerate it. As I mentioned before, doing this the night before makes your morning much easier.
When it’s time to bake it, slice the roll up and put the slices on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet. You can eat them while warm or even when they cool completely. Just know that your brownies from the night before will stay safe if you make these.
