DARE TO BE DIFFERENT!
Angel food cake is always so light and heavenly. And that’s probably how it got that name. A quick glance on Wikipedia tells me that it got the name by being so light and fluffy, so I wasn’t too far off. Also, it’s not made with butter and perhaps that’s what people found so sinful about it in the first place. Anyway, I love this recipe that I found for multiple reasons. One is that, if you’re been reading my blog for any amount of time now you know this of me, the recipe is old. And old recipes are always amazing. They’re from simpler times before foods were fusionized and they just taste so good.
Another reason is that it’s unique. Sure, it’s a chocolate cake but have you ever seen an angel food cake in chocolate? That’s not really common. I can’t recall if I’ve ever seen that, actually. And the last reason I adore this recipe is that it is incredibly delicious. And easy. You can impress everyone you know with this cake. The light texture just melts in your mouth, leaving behind a rich and chocolaty taste that makes you think you’ve died and gone straight to heaven.
