ONLY 6 INGREDIENTS. NOT A TYPO!
What’s even more fabulous about these cupcakes is that they are one of the easiest things you will EVER make. There are 6 total ingredients with an optional 7th one and they take no time at all to put together and bake. So let’s do this. You’ll make the cream cheese mixture first. Please note this does NOT include the sour cream. Don’t dump that in there too or you’ll be sorry. I almost didn’t pay enough attention. Phew.
The cream cheese mixture gets baked first. Let it cool a few and then you’ll be spooning the sour cream mixture on top of it and baking it too. Once cooled, you can top with the pie filling, and if you wish, some mint leaves. I didn’t grab any mint so I left it off. If you’re not a huge cherry fan, you could make this with another pie filling, like strawberry, blueberry or even raspberry. Yum!
