ONLY 6 INGREDIENTS NEEDED!
With so few ingredients and only microwave cooking going on, these will win your heart over big time. And everyone else’s too. I don’t think I can make regular Krispie treats again. These were mind-blowingly delicious. Caramel, sweetened condensed milk and butter get microwaved together in 1-minute increments until the caramels have melted. Stir after each minute interval ends. It should take roughly 4 minutes.
Next, you’ll melt butter and marshmallows in the microwave for a minute. Stir and if the marshmallows still need melting, keep heating in 20-second increments until they melt. You’ll pour some Krispies into the marshmallow mixture, stir and then press into the bottom of your pan. Then the caramel gets poured on top of that, followed by some mini marshmallows. Let it set for 20 minutes in the fridge and then add another layer of Krispie treats, pressing down into the pan. To make it easier and less messy, use a piece of parchment paper sprayed with cooking spray. Again, let it all set for a while before cutting and serving. Believe me, they are worth waiting for!
I found this gooey delicious recipe on the Cookies and Cups blog. Click the link below to see the blog and full recipe for these Caramel Stuffed Krispie Treats.
