BRING THIS BEAUTIFUL BAR TO LIFE!
These look so pretty and impressive but they’re really not that hard to make. Here’s what you need to know. You’ll get a mixture of butter, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla going in one bowl and in another, the dry stuff – flour, baking powder and salt. These will all get combined and then you’ll pour them into your parchment paper-lined pan. A cinnamon sugar mixture goes over this mixture and then you bake it and cool it. Nothing too crazy, right? It’s very straightforward.
After it cools, you’ll spread the dulce de leche over the crust. Now I want you to know I used Nestle’s dulce de leche as the original poster recommended. I did not try the Eagle Brand but if you do, look on the package of it for how to thicken it before using in the recipe. Once you get the dulce de leche on there, you’ll melt the white chocolate mixture. Let it cool just a little and then spread it over the dulce de leche layer. Add a final touch of cinnamon and sugar before you refrigerate. Don’t cut into bars until it has set for at least one hour. Dig in!
