MAKE IT YOUR NEW GO-TO CANDY TREAT!
While the ingredient list looks lengthy, I promise this is as easy as it gets. You’ll need a candy thermometer for this though because of the caramel so have that ready. Line your pan with foil and grease that foil with softened butter. This will be a huge help when you’re done in regards to getting these babies out of the pan. Then drop down the pretzels and pecans all over the bottom. It’s important to note that if you want to serve these to someone with nut allergies, you can leave off those pecans. They do give it a nice crunch, but you could make up for it by using more pretzels instead.
Make the caramel and keep watch on the thermometer for it to get to that soft-ball stage. Then pour it on top of the pretzels and pecans. For the chocolate layer, that’s easy. You can just melt it up in the microwave and then pour it on top. Let it set. The recipe doesn’t say it but in the picture, you can clearly see the white chocolate drizzle. In the ingredients, it even lists white chocolate chips. Go ahead and melt those in 30-second increments in the microwave and drizzle it on top of your chocolate layer for an extra bit of panache.
