DREAM ON ‘TIL YOUR DREAMS COME TRUE!
I’m probably in the minority because I do not like vanilla wafers. I don’t hate them either. But if a box of them is left unattended around me, I won’t gobble them up. I won’t even open them. This cannot be said of me and Pinwheels. Anyway, I will say that making them into a crust is probably the best thing you could ever do with them.
Once you lay down your buttery foundation, you’ll melt the caramels, candy bars, caramel topping and part of the cream over low heat. Once it’s smooth and blended, you’ll take it off the burner, add in your peanuts and spread it on top of the crust. Chill it for an hour in the fridge. After that, you can melt chocolate chips and cream together in the microwave and pour it on top of the caramel. You can add more peanuts here if you want. Or you can leave out all peanuts if you wanted from this whole thing as well if you want to share with somebody who has an allergy. Peanuts or not, after the next layer, let it chill more in the fridge until you serve it. I guarantee you’ll be fantasizing about it while you wait for it to set!
