I KNOW IT’S NOT FALL YET, BUT…
Ok, I get it. We’re enjoying summer. Splashing into pools. Longer daylight hours. More shenanigans. I know. But I just can’t help myself. Besides, where I live, apples are always in season and I can use them any time I wish. Plus, it is never too early to start planning for the holidays. Oh good. I’ve turned into Mom, haven’t I? She ALWAYS does this. She plans her holiday menus MONTHS in advance. Last year, she called me up to tell me what she was making for Thanksgiving in early September. And now I’m doing it too.
But I’m not really sorry you see. Because this is a dessert to behold. This is an epic masterpiece of cheesecake meets apple crisp topped with rich caramel.
