A FASTER WAY TO BREAK BREAD!
The other night, my husband surprised me by arranging for a friend to watch our children so he could take me out to a nice dinner. I seriously was genuinely surprised because we only do this on our anniversary and usually it’s me that does all the arranging at his request. He’ll say, “Let’s go out, just the two of us. See if Marc and Jen can watch the kids. Oh and call that steakhouse you like and make reservations.” There was something so much more romantic about this because I had NO idea he was doing this. We stole off into the evening air, giggling like teenagers. We sat at a lovely table in a lovely restaurant with a great view on the water. And as we sipped on our wine and perused the menu, our server brought over a lovely fresh-baked loaf of bread.
I adore that piping-hot fresh-baked bread smell. It’s so heavenly. We could not get enough of this stuff. The rest of the meal was amazing too. It was so nice to feel spoiled because I have not been out without my kids since our last anniversary. When we go out, I’m always on edge that my kids will bother someone else or make a mess or do something rude and embarrassing. It’s also nice to get fresh-baked bread without the trouble of baking it. It takes forever. But not this tasty recipe that you simply must try!
