IT’S ALL IN THE WRISTS
The good news is that actually making these beauties isn’t very difficult at all. As a matter of fact, these pretzels require very few ingredients and just a little time to create. The trick, however, is in the twist.
There are several ways to twist a pretzel, it turns out. The first time I tried to make these, I found myself googling pretzel twisting tutorials in order to perfect my technique. What I found was mesmerizing. There are sticks, there are circles, there are swirls, there are breads, there are designs. There are so many ways to twist a pretzel, it turns out. Find your favorite and practice a few times before starting on the real deal.
Do NOT skimp on the butter here. Just don’t. Get a high quality, sweet and creamy butter to top your pretzels with. They will brown up like a dream and taste even better.
Top these off with a variety of mustards or hot cheese dip and enjoy a game, all in the comfort of your own home. (Because after you’re done having your pretzel, you’re probably going to want a cupcake, and those aren’t as easy to find in a stadium.)
