QUIT LOAFING AROUND AND BAKE A LOAF!
With this recipe, you can either use one regular-sized loaf pan 0r two smaller ones. I made one regular loaf. Before you get busy, it is SO important to sift the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Don’t get all cocky and ignore the sifting or your dry mixture won’t be light like it should be. If you don’t have a sifter, you can use a strainer.
By the way, if you don’t have buttermilk, you can make your own. Without going to the farm! For every cup of buttermilk a recipe calls for, you will add 2 tablespoons of either lemon juice OR vinegar. Mix it together and it will have little curdles in it. After it has sat together, you can pour it into your recipe, lumps and all. Also, be sure to mash up your bananas really well so they get incorporated into the batter really well. You can mash them with a potato masher or just a plain old fork. It’s an easy bread to make. Enjoy!
