A DESSERT THAT REALLY DELIGHTS!
Brownies. Pudding. Whipped toppings. Candy bits. You can’t go wrong with that combination. Plus, it looks so much more special that slapping a tray of brownies down on the table. Not that there’s anything wrong with a tray of brownies, but when you’re hosting dinner, you really should make a little more effort than a box mix, you know? It’s basically just as easy as making brownies. Which you need to do to make this so bake them up according to the box and let them cool. Once cooled, cut them into little cubes.
Then you’ll mix the milk and pudding mix until it thickens. Once it does, add the coffee. If you are serving children or you just don’t want a coffee flavor to this, you can simply omit it. Gently fold in the whipped topping and then you can begin layering the dessert to create your trifle. This looks best in a large glass bowl so you can see the layers of deliciousness. Top with Heath bar, or you can really use any other candy bar you wish. You can even use chocolate chips. A drizzle of chocolate sauce on top also adds even more to the presentation. Our guests were very impressed and thanks to this coming together so quickly, I had just enough time to make myself look presentable too.
