SUGAR AND SPICE AND EVERYTHING NICE!
There’s not much that could be easier than these. Less than 10 ingredients and just a little bit of your time will yield you about 30 bars of amazingness. That’s quite a return on investment, don’t you think? As usual, your mixer will do all the work for you. You’ve just got to add the ingredients as they are called for. Once the wet ingredients are incorporated, you can add in the dry stuff. Don’t over-mix it though. You want it to be just combined. Then once everything else is together, you can add in your toffee bits.
Just as the original poster suggested, I used Heath bits for the toffee. I love Heath bars and that is the first brand I think of when I think about toffee. You have a choice of using plain toffee bits or milk chocolate ones. I think the answer is pretty obvious for the right choice, don’t you? OF COURSE I used the ones with the milk chocolate. What a dream! Bake away but take care not to over-bake and allow to cool. Then enjoy that cozy happy feeling when you eat them! Yummy!
