CHOCOHOLIC PARADISE!
Now before you begin making this cake of pure chocolate indulgences, please be aware that the linked recipe is for the CONVECTION OVEN. Do you have a convection oven? If so, use it to make this recipe. If not, you need to click on the link in the recipe that will take you to how to make it in your CONVENTIONAL OVEN. There is no difference in ingredients, just differences in ovens and temperatures and those sorts of things. As someone who bakes, my dream is to someday have a convection oven. I could buy one for my countertop I suppose but we really have no room for it. So I made this in my regular, ol’ oven.
By the way, if you don’t know what a tube pan is, it’s just a slightly fancier bundt pan. So a bundt pan would work just fine here too. To frost it, pour your ganache into the hole in the center and fill that up first so it overflows over the entire cake. Oh yeah. That’s good. To me, there can never be too much chocolate frosting. Or chocolate anything. And with this cake, your chocolate cup will runneth over in the most splendid of ways.
I found this super delicious recipe on the Through Her Looking Glass blog. Click the link below to see the blog and full recipe for this Brick Street Chocolate Cake.
