MAKE YOUR MORNING MORE MEMORABLE!
I sometimes wonder what other countries think of ours. When I look at the news, I kind of facepalm because we must look like SUCH idiots to other countries. It really is shameful. But one thing I don’t think we ever need to apologize for as Americans is our way of making breakfast that is clearly dessert. Yes, we’re experts on this subject and we can make cake for breakfast and if we bake it in a loaf pan and include fresh fruit and yogurt in it, it’s okay because it’s healthy-ish.
What? Blueberries are excellent for your health. And so is yogurt. So there. It’s much better for you than donuts. Anyway, I wanted to make something that the family could help themselves to when I had a busy morning earlier this week, so I gave this recipe a try. Total winner. It was moist, flavorful and fairly easy to prepare. It does take a while to bake so be prepared for that. Otherwise, it’s a wonderful way to make any morning special.
