BERRY LEMON-LICIOUS!
There are a lot of ingredients to this but don’t let that stop you. It’s fairly easy to make if you just take it slow and make sure you’ve got everything. The original poster apparently made this cake 4 times before getting it right. Thanks to her hard work and trials and errors, this cake is easier for the rest of us now. The cake is simple to put together. Don’t forget your lemon zest. It adds such panache. You can make it by grating your lemon peel. The cheesecake mixture is totally easy. Mix it up and that’s it! Then you’ll pour half of the cake batter into your pan, followed by one third of the cream cheese mixture, followed by more cake batter and then the remaining cream cheese mixture. Add the rest of the blueberries on top.
Bake it up, but if you see after 30 minutes it is browning too quickly, add a tent of foil over the top, making sure it doesn’t stick to your cake. Let it cool for at least an hour before covering and refrigerating. It’s best if it’s left to refrigerate overnight. When you’re ready to serve, you can make a glaze for it. It says optional but OMG yes, you totally want this in your life so DO IT!
