OH SNAP!
I always marvel at people who buy pre-made cookie dough when they probably have everything they need to make an even better cookie dough right in their pantry. The ingredients for these gingersnaps are likely all there in your cabinet now. Unless you’re me and had to run out for molasses. Oh well. Make sure to beat everything together in the order the recipe states. I’ve had issues on plenty of recipes by just chucking everything in. It’s listed like that for a reason. Heed the warning.
Once the dough forms, wrap it up well and refrigerate it for at least 2 hours. Then the fun begins. You’ll roll the dough into little balls and then roll those little balls into sugar. Don’t let them touch on your cookie sheet or you will have delicious blobs instead of delicious cookies. These are so perfect for cookie exchanges or getting everyone in the spirit at the office. Or around the home too!
