WHEN LIFE GIVES YOU BANANAS…!
What’s not to love about banana bread? It’s super easy to make, it helps you use up the ugly, blackening bananas that no one in the house wants to eat and it tastes great. In college, I had a friend named Hannah who was from Atlanta. Her mom sent her a care package with fresh-baked banana bread. She insisted I had to try it. At that time in my life, I’d never had it. I know, I was a weird kid. I have no other explanation for it.
Anyway, once I tried Hannah’s mom’s homemade banana bread, that was it. I was a fan forever. And even though we lost touch when I transferred to a different university, I always thought of her every time I ever had banana bread. I’ve made so many different recipes of it in my adult life now, but this one has to be the closest to the one she shared with me all those years ago in the dorms.
