A TASTY TWIST ON A NEW ORLEANS CLASSIC!
When I go out to eat at an extra fancy restaurant, I almost always expect bananas foster to be on the menu. Because it almost always is. Before my parents moved out of the home I grew up in to where they are now, we used to love to go to this one incredibly extravagant place. It had the best of the best. The best steaks. The best seafood. And the best game meats including ostrich of all things (hey, it was excellent). Of course, the desserts were not to be missed.
The last time we’d gone was to surprise my dad for one of his birthdays. Their bananas foster was made tableside and was absolutely legendary. This place sadly closed down a couple years after our last meal there but Daddy and I still talk about it to this day. We’ve had bananas foster in lots of places but it was truly the best ever here. I haven’t seen bananas foster in a while so when I found this recipe, I knew I had to go for it. It’s like taking the best of banana bread and the best of bananas foster and breeding it to create this insanely delicious bread. It’s got this wonderful glaze on top too. And you could totally get away with eating it for breakfast. You’ve got to try this! Let’s go to the next page (click the Next button below) to discover how to make this Bananas Foster Bread.
