BANANAS + COOKIES + FROSTING = HAPPINESS!
Warning: these are dangerous. Make sure everyone is around the share these with because if you love banana bread, you are totally going to have a hard time controlling yourself with these. The batter is way easy. Best part is that you can choose your add in at the end. The original poster suggests chocolate chips, walnuts or raisins. She said she used chocolate chips and so did I because I love chocolate and I think chocolate and bananas are an amazing combination. Oh and I am not really much of a raisin fan. But it’s up to you. You can customize it to your liking, and I love that kind of flexibility in a recipe.
Drop the batter by the spoonful, bake and cool. Meanwhile, get that frosting ready. You can use maple syrup to make it have a nice maple taste to it but if you don’t have it on hand or you would prefer not to make it maple-flavored, use vanilla extract. I love maple syrup so I went with that and was so completely blissed out by these. The kids loved being able to have cookies for breakfast too. This is a great one to take on the go for those mornings when everything is crazy and you have to eat in the car.
I found this delectable recipe on the Cookies and Cups blog. Click the link below to see the blog and full recipe for these Banana Bread Cookies.
