BROWN SUGAR! HOW COME YOU TASTE SO GOOD?
If you’re not into classic rock and have no idea who The Rolling Stones are, that just went WAY over your head. Anyway, you’ve got a couple options here for this. You can actually brown your butter if you dare instead of just melting it. If you choose to brown your butter, just keep cooking it once it has melted until it turns a golden color. You do not have to brown the butter if you don’t want. These are fine with melted butter too.
When you make your batter, be sure to mash up your banana first. Ideally, you’ll be using a banana that’s nice and ripe, with a little bit of brown on the peel. It will mash easily with a fork, or use your potato masher. After they bake, let them cool. You can frost them when they are mostly cool which is nice for the impatient person in all of us who just can’t wait to frost and eat their desserts. The frosting is very easy to make. Once you frost the blondies, let the frosting set up before cutting, serving and most importantly, enjoying!
I found this super sweet recipe on the Cookies and Cups blog. Click the link below to see the blog and full recipe for these Banana Blondies.
