THE PERFECT CHEAP DATE!
Lately, my husband and I have been focused on a new plan. That plan is to go on a vacation that doesn’t involve arguing down miles of the interstate to see relatives we don’t want to see and stay in a sub-par hotel or even worse, with said relatives to save even more money. No, no, no. We want to go on an Alaskan cruise. Or to stay in an igloo under the Northern Lights. Or somewhere without the kids would be lovely too. But as we crunched our numbers, we realized that the only thing we had in our budget was to drive to the entrance of Disney World and pose by the signs there. Sigh.
So we decided to make a 2-fold plan. The first part involves making more money so he’s off at work desperately trying to dazzle his boss while I’m over here doing everything I can to make some extra money AND save us some too. The other day, my kids kept chirping in the backseat about apple pies from McDonald’s. I didn’t give in because I had something way better in mind. These baked apple pie rollups will satisfy that hand-held apple pie feeling you need to fill without busting your budget. Plus, they’re totally awesome!
