AN APPLE A DAY…
Just fair warning that there is some rising time needed but it is much shorter this way because of the ready-made dough. You’ll only need to let it rise once after slicing it instead of making the dough, waiting for it to rise, rolling it out and getting it ready and then letting it rise again. So let’s get this party started. First, thaw the dough. Mix the sugars and the cinnamon and chop up them apples. Roll your dough on your counter top. To keep it from sticking, spray it with baking spray first. Spread butter on the dough and then sprinkle it with the sugar mixture. Then toss the apples all over the top.
Roll up the dough and tightly seal it. Then take a sharp knife or even better, unflavored dental floss, and slice the dough. You’ll need to cover the rolls and let them double in size for about an hour first. Then, you can bake them. Once finished, make your glaze, drizzle and serve these nice and warm. Your kitchen will smell like apple pie and cinnamon rolls all in one, the ultimate in comforting scents! Yum!
