CINNAMON + APPLES + GLAZE = LOVE!
Don’t let all the steps in this recipe, or all the ingredients, intimidate you. If you’re new to all this, I totally get it. Really, I do. But you’ll live to regret it if you don’t make this apple fritter cake.
It comes together quickly and your mixer really does the work here. Once you get the filling and batter ready, it’s so easy. The hard part is waiting for it to set when you’re all finished. Take it slow as you pour the batter. You’ll need to leave enough to cover the filling and if you don’t, that’s going to be awkward like that middle school dance so long ago. We struggle to forget and this cake will help you do just that.
When the cake is done, don’t be shy about stabbing it repeatedly. It’s for a good cause. You’ve got to poke lots of holes in it so that gooey delicious glaze will seep down into the crevices. That way, the glaze isn’t just on top. It’s everywhere you want it to be. I found this awesome recipe to make this review from the Cookies & Cups blog.
