7 INGREDIENTS TO MAKE THIS SUBLIME PIE!
Apple pie is much easier than you think, especially this creamy version. You need to try this. It’s like baking ice cream in with it. Though you should absolutely still top it off with a scoop of vanilla when you’re serving it.
This is easy with a premade pie crust. Of course, if you must, you can roll out your own dough. But save time and embrace the convenience of being able to buy your pie crust at the supermarket. While I do think there is a time and place for making your own crust, sometimes saving time is a priority.
Take your apples and cut them up. You can use any type of apples that you wish. I like Granny Smith. The original poster used Macintosh. Whatever apples you can find and suit your taste buds, use ‘em. Put the apples in the unbaked pie crust, sprinkle with lemon juice, combine the dry ingredients and sprinkle some of it on the apples. Then pour the cream. Then sprinkle the dry stuff again. See? It’s SO easy! Easy as apple pie! Ha!
