JUST CHILL! (YOU DON’T HAVE TO CHILL!)
One of my very favorite aspects of this sugar cookie recipe is that when you set out to make the dough, you can pop them into the oven nearly immediately. Unlike other cookies, sugar cookies in particular, the dough needs to set and chill for an extended period of time in order to maintain their taste, texture, and appearance.
I hate waiting sometimes.
When I want to make a batch of cookies, I want to be able to eat them very soon after mixing my first ingredients. These wonderful little cookies do just that. The dough is tough when you’re spooning it out, but then melts into the softest and most buttery cookies this ol’ gal has ever seen. And the shape is picture perfect every single time, no chilling required.
So chill out your mind, but not your dough! These Amish sugar cookies are ready to roll! The amazing recipe that I found to make this review comes from the Cookies & Cups blog. As you can see from the pic, these really look good too. Click the link below to go visit the blog to see more pics and get the detailed recipe for these awesome cookies.
