A SALAD YOU CAN’T GET ENOUGH OF!
This is one salad you won’t have trouble getting everyone to eat. Maybe because of the whipped topping. Or the vanilla yogurt perhaps. No, it has to be the fruity marshmallows. You know the ones…they come in different colors. It makes this extra pretty. This of course is very simple to make. You could even have your children help you stir everything together. Kids love to help. The whipped topping and yogurt get mixed together first and then you can throw everything else in and stir until everything is evenly distributed.
To really make this pretty, serve in clear glass cups and top with a maraschino cherry. If you don’t have so many serving cups, you could use a large clear glass serving bowl as well, especially if this is a potluck. I mean, you could put it in ANY container, but it just looks more impressive and lovely if you put it in a clear glass receptacle so that everyone can see all the bright bits of fruit and marshmallow happening in there. Oh, and the pecans are optional, just so you know. I did not use them in mine and everyone still went nuts for them. Even my kids, who thankfully, got to enjoy ambrosia salad before school lunches ever ruined it for them so they didn’t suffer the same fruit salad traumas that I did.
